Led by its President Tao-Ming Cheng, a three-member delegation from Chaoyang University of Technology, Taiwan (CYUT) visited NCUT on 5th December, 2018. President Ding Hui and Vice President Shen Zhili met with the guests.
President Ding Hui extended his warm welcome to and exchange ideas regarding the approaches to improving teaching quality and talent development with the delegation. Vice President Shen Zhili introduced NCUT’s achievements on internationalization in recent years and reached a common understanding of further cooperation between CYUT and NCUT after a detailed discussion with the delegation.
Prof Wen-der Yu, Assistant Vice President for International Affairs from CYUT delivered a speech tilted with “How Can Artificial Intelligence Change the Future of Engineering” at School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering.
Located in Taichung city, Taiwan, Chaoyang University of Technology is the first private technical university in Taiwan, China. Currently, the University comprises five colleges and 23 departments, which offer 23 master's programs and five doctoral programs. The number of students currently enrolled is around 17,000, and faculty and staff total about 600. This university ranked 301-350 in the THE University Ranking: Asia 2018.
