NCUT has modern teaching buildings and library, an art gallery, and exercise facilities as well as sports-fields, a stadium and swimming pools. There are supermarkets, shopping malls, amusement parks and hospitals in the vicinity. The university is located in Beijing with convenient public transportation.

NCUT arranges special trips for overseas students to visit places of interest in Beijing and neighboring areas, to afford overseas students a more colorful and rewarding university life. In order to enrich the campus life of overseas students, NCUT organizes various activities for degree-program and language training students. There are usually several special language practice events every month, as well as parties to celebrate traditional Chinese and overseas festivals, fostering a multi-cultural student environment. In addition, overseas students are encouraged take part in the full range of campus activities, including sports-meets and celebrations, to help them feel a part of university life and to enhance communication with local students. NCUT is also joining hands with other schools in Beijing, to arrange special events for overseas students and to encourage interaction with all overseas students in Beijing for fun and friendship.
