On January 19, the 15th Beijing College Skiing Competition was successfully completed. After fierce competition, Bai Yining from School of Humanities and Law, claimed the first place in men's parallel giant slalom. As a group, the NCUT Team with the seven members being Bai Yining, You Chenjie, Wang Chen, Zhang Zhaoyi, Ran Xu, Liu Tongbo and Xu Junda, won the fifth place in the league table.

Hosted by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, this competition attracted around 200 contestants from more than 20 universities and colleges in Beijing. In the early stage, our skiing team has overcome inconvenience regarding transportation, accommodation, practice sites, etc. with painstaking efforts. Although this is the team’s first time to take part in this competition, they worked hard and claimed the first place in men's parallel giant slalom with the spirit of “cheering up for Beijing Winter Olympics”. Their excellent performance, widely reported by medias such as CCTV5, has demonstrated the youthful vigor of NCUT students.

While preparing for the coming Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, NCUT actively responds to the call of "engaging 300 million people in ice and snow activities", guiding the students and staff to participate in ice and snow sports. The skiing team, developed from NCUT skiing club, excelled itself in various ice and snow sports competition held for college students. Moreover, the team member Bai Yining was selected into the national training team for the Winter Universiade with his outstanding performance.

The Beijing 2022Winter Olympics is about to begin, and the students of NCUT will embrace Winter Olympics with their passion for sports and excellent performance in sports, marching together for a shared future!

It is reported that NCUT skiing team has recently delivered exceptional performance in a series of competitions. Specifically, in the 8^th China College Student Snowboard Cross, they won the first place in men’s snowboard cross, ranked the sixth among men’s league table, and was awarded the title of “Moral-Ethical Representative”. Also, they won the first place in men’s parallel giant slalom in the North China Division of the 8^th China College Student Skiing Challenge. Furthermore, they won the first place in men’s parallel giant slalom in the 3^rd Beijing-Zhangjiakou Mass Skiing Friendly Competition.
