On June 12, Professor Guanghua Qiu, a tenured professor from Pennsylvania State University (Penn State), visited our university. Wang Jianwen, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC North China University of Technology Committee, Vice President, welcomed the guest in Dunpin Building.
Wang Jianwen extended a warm welcome to Professor Qiu and expressed his hope for collaboration between the two universities in engineering, business, and other key disciplines. He emphasized the desire to broaden overseas exchange and further education opportunities for NCUT students through joint programs and exchange programs. Professor Qiu provided a brief overview of Penn State's achievements in education. He recommended that considering the compatibility of their disciplines and credit transfer requirements, the two universities begin their cooperation with a joint graduate program.
Leaders and project staff from the School of Information Science and Technology and the Office of International Affairs also attended the meeting.
Pennsylvania State University, located in Pennsylvania, USA, is a renowned research university.
