On the morning of October 15, 2024, the graduation ceremony of the short-term language and culture training program of The Prince Royal's College, Thailand was held in Room 103 of Guangxue Building. The 14-day language and culture program was attended by 43 Thailand teachers and students. Zhang Lifeng, President of NCUT, congratulated the students of The Prince Royal's College, on their successful graduation and took a group photo with Thailand teachers and students.
The students were divided into groups to report on their learning results, showing their experiences in Chinese learning, cultural experience and visits, and expressing their love and admiration for Chinese culture. On behalf of The Prince Royal's College , Wang Meijia, the leading teacher, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to our school for its careful organization and thoughtful arrangement, said that this wonderful experience will inspire students to continue learning Chinese, and looks forward to meeting with NCUT again. Han Fei, Dean of the International College, presented the school motto plate to the Thailand delegation on behalf of the school, and looked forward to further exchanges and cooperation with The Prince Royal's College, Thailand.
The short-term language and culture program carefully planned by the International College aims to promote international understanding and cross-cultural communication, and is an international education brand program for overseas students, including characteristic Chinese courses, Chinese traditional culture experience courses and language practice courses. During the two weeks, the participants learned Chinese in depth, experienced Chinese culture, explored the charm of the ancient capital, and deepened their understanding of China. In addition, under the guidance of the Shijingshan District Education Committee, the training group also walked into The Beijing Jingshan School Yuanyang Branch and interacted with the teachers and students of the school. Thailand students performed traditional dances and had a calligraphy class with Chinese students, and Chinese and Thai students shared their respective cultures and customs, enhancing mutual understanding and friendship.
Thailand is an important country along the "Belt and Road", and The Prince Royal's College, founded in 1887, is a prestigious school with a long history and profound heritage in Thailand.
