Recently, the results of the National Final of the 2025 (18th) China University Students Computer Design Competition (abbreviated as "4C") were announced. The Pocket Guide to Jingwei Chinese, a work designed by the team of Chinese and international students from our university, won the Third Prize.

The competition comprises three stages: the University-level Competition, the Regional Competition, and the National Final. The School of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science of our university took the initiative to organize the University-level Competition; after conducting promotion and mobilization, providing teacher guidance, and carrying out strict evaluation, 11 outstanding works were selected from across the university to represent our school in the Regional Competition. In the Beijing Regional Competition, NCUT's participating teams delivered an excellent performance, securing 1 Second Prize and 10 Third Prizes, and among these teams, an entry jointly designed by four students—Chinese students Huang Sirui and Huang Yuxin majoring in Digital Media Technology, Indonesian international student Liu Deqing majoring in Architecture, and Moroccan international student Tajja majoring in International Economics and Trade—successfully advanced to the National Final.
In the National Final, under the full-process guidance of teachers Xu Shuning and Liu Liping from the School of International Education, the team of Chinese and international students collaborated closely—constantly adjusting their plan, optimizing details, and refining the work through multiple rounds of polish. Eventually, they completed their entry The Pocket Guide to Jingwei Chinese, a work that combines practicality and innovation, and won the Third Prize.
This award fully demonstrates the Chinese and international students’ capabilities in teamwork, problem-solving, and application of professional knowledge. It not only serves as dual recognition of their professional competence and innovative thinking but also represents high affirmation of their cross-cultural collaboration ability. Moreover, it reflects the achievements of the university in internationalized education and the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents.
The China University Students Computer Design Competition is a listed event in the Analysis Report on College Student Competitions in National Regular Higher Education Institutions. Founded by the Ministry of Education-affiliated teaching guidance committees related to computer disciplines, it is one of the earliest competitions in China targeting undergraduate students in higher education institutions.
