On September 5th, North China University of Technology warmly welcomed the 2025 cohort of new students. Over 4,700 undergraduate freshmen have fulfilled their dreams of studying at NCUT and set sail to embark on their vibrant university lives.

 

In front of Dunpin Building and outside the Gymnasium, the crowd surged with laughter and cheers. The freshmen, brimming with youthful vitality, have injected new dynamism into our university.

 

Students took check-in photos in front of the welcome boards, capturing the first commemorative picture of their encounter with NCUT.

 

In their fully packed suitcases lie the aspirations for the future and the earnest entrustment from their loved ones.

 

 

 

They scanned the QR code on their admission letters to collect student ID cards and went through accommodation registration procedures. From this moment on, a new title has been added to their life journey—NCUTer.

 

 

 

Our university’s leaders including Liu Jun, Shi Zhenjun, Lu Xiaobin, and Chen Qun arrived at the freshmen orientation site early in the morning to welcome the new students. They communicated with the freshmen and their parents, answered questions for them, and extended their care and best wishes.

 

 

At the Gymnasium, Liu Jun, Secretary of our University Party Committee, went to the "Green Channel", had a cordial conversation with students, and distributed "Care Cards" to them. In the student dormitories, he learned about the freshmen's check-in situation and encouraged the students to integrate into the collective actively and start their study and life as soon as possible. At the student canteen, he requested the logistics department to ensure food safety and let the freshmen have delicious meals. At the volunteer service station of the Senior Party Members Vanguard, he encouraged the senior comrades to continue exerting their "silver-haired strength" to help the students adapt to college life as soon as possible.
