On March 23, Chinese Culture University(CCU) delegation led by Cai Jialin, representative of Office of Mainland China Affairs, director of cross-strait Cooperation of CCU visited NCUT. Wang Jianwen, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC North China University of Technology Committee, Vice President met with the guests in Room 322, Dunpin Building. Heads of the offices of Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs, School of Architecture and Art, Advertising Department of the School of Humanities and Law of NCUT attended the meeting.
Wang Jianwen welcomed the guests and gave a detailed introduction of NCUT on the history, talent cultivation, characteristic specialty, and exchanges with universities in Taiwan. He hoped that both sides would further strengthen cooperation, jointly promote student exchange programs, and carry out teacher exchanges and scientific research cooperation around advantageous disciplines, providing a broader exchange platform for teachers and students of both universities. Cai Jialin introduced the history, characteristics, advantageous majors, and cooperation and exchanges with mainland universities in recent years. He emphasized on the theme workshop courses and summer exchange camp activities of Chinese Culture University, in hope of advancing the exchange and cooperation between the two universities to a new level.
After the meeting, the guests visited the laboratory of the School of Architecture and Art, the photography studio of the Advertising Department of the School of Humanities and Law, and held talks with relevant teachers.
Chinese Culture University is located in Taipei City, founded in 1962, and is a well-known private comprehensive university in Taiwan. Currently, there are 12 colleges, covering the fields of literature, engineering, business, art, and environmental design, with 60 undergraduate programs, 42 postgraduate programs, and 10 doctoral programs. It is the most comprehensive and diverse university in Taiwan with the most complete education areas.
