On the afternoon of April 27th, The Service Centre and the International School jointed organized a symposium for international students , over 50 student representatives from countries such as Mongolia, Congo and Uzbekistan who live on campus joined in the event.
Representatives of international students have expressed their opinions about the facility maintenance, events organization, and kitchen operations of the Service Centre and provided some suggestions accordingly. The service centre answered questions raised by students promptly and patiently.
The students showed great passion for the symposium, expressing their understanding and support for the service management measures taken by the service centre of the international students’ apartment. Also, they expressed their support for the upcoming“No-smoking signs designing contest“ of the Service Centre and said that they would actively sign up for the event.
Xu Mei, vice dean of the International School, Zhang Yongjun , counselor of the International School held talks with international students and exchanged ideas with them on their opinions of the recent security education, indoor safety intersection, and the upcoming activities organized by the university.
The service centre of the International Students' Apartment also held a safety education session for the international students representatives.
The symposium has served as a bridge among the service centre ,the international School and the international students. In the future, the two departments will normalize ways to promote teacher-student interaction and exchange, forming a long-term mechanism to improve the service level of international students’apartment. Through departmental collaboration and teacher-student interaction, we will further implement the idea of“joint participation and management”and continue to elevate the level of accommodation services to a new level.
