From June 7th to 8th, the final of the National College Business Elites Challenge-Accounting and Business Management Case Competition was successfully held. Our students won 3 first-prizes, 6 second-prizes and 2 third-prizes, and the school was awarded the "Best Institution Organization Award".
A total of more than 6,000 teams from 600 institutions in over 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government across the country registered for this competition. After layers of selection, more than 3,000 teams advanced to the national final. Five graduate-student teams and six undergraduate-student teams composed of 55 students from the School of Economics and Management of our university participated in the competition under the guidance of 11 teachers from the Accounting Department. The competition was held online. Through fierce competition, the excellent performance of the students was fully recognized by the judges and they achieved excellent results.
This competition is jointly hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Commercial Industry Committee, the China Chamber of International Commerce Commercial Industry Chamber and the Commerce Economy Association of China, aiming to improve college students' ability to conduct business research using accounting information.
