Recently, the School of Economics and Management, North China University of Technology, has received an official letter from the Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners of the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The letter confirms that at the Board meeting held on March 2, 2026, the expert panel reviewed the Annual Quality Assurance Report submitted by our School and voted to accept the report unconditionally.
This marks another important achievement in the international business accreditation progress of the School of Economics and Management, following its attainment of ACBSP Clean Member accreditation in 2025.
According to the notice from the ACBSP Accreditation Board, the next round of the Quality Assurance Report is due by February 15, 2030, and the reaffirmation assessment will take place in 2032.
At present, all four programs offered by the School, namely Business Administration, Accounting, International Economics and Trade, and Economics and Finance, have obtained ACBSP international business program accreditation.
In the official letter, Dr. Steve Parscale, ACBSP Chief Accreditation Officer, stated: “We appreciate your institution for providing high-quality business education programs for students. ACBSP looks forward to continuing its long-term partnership with North China University of Technology.”
Building on the unconditional approval of the annual report, the School of Economics and Management will continue to advance the construction of a quality assurance system featuring “Standards, Integration, and Classroom Empowerment”, deepen the closed-loop management of Assurance of Learning (AOL), and further integrate international accreditation standards with local business education, so as to continuously improve the quality of talent development.
This progress also lays a solid foundation for the School to accelerate its pursuit of AACSB international accreditation.
