On April 23, the 3rd “Love Beijing, Love Innovation” Science and Innovation Fair was held at Yuxiu Square. The event was organized by the Youth League Committee and jointly supported by the Student Union and the Student Union of the School of Intelligence. As a key program of the University’s 35th Science Festival, it aimed to provide a platform for showcasing innovation, exchanging ideas, and promoting collaboration. More than 2,000 students and staff attended.

The venue was lively and well attended. University leaders, including Party Secretary Zhang Qihong, President Zhang Lifeng, Deputy Party Secretary Shi Zhenjun, and Vice Presidents Chen Jiaqing and Wang Li, visited the event and interacted with participating teams. They spoke positively of students’ engagement in innovation and encouraged them to contribute to national development through scientific research.

Centered on the theme “Love Beijing, Love Innovation,” the event featured three sections: a “Challenge Cup” project showcase, a competition information area, and a central presentation stage. A total of 20 student teams presented their projects, covering areas such as robotics, intelligent systems, and integrated circuits.

To encourage broader participation, the event introduced an interactive voting mechanism, allowing visitors to support their preferred teams. Additional activities further enhanced engagement and created a dynamic atmosphere.

The fair offered an accessible and interactive platform for experiencing innovation and highlighted the University’s efforts in entrepreneurship and innovation education. The University will continue to improve support for student innovation and encourage students to contribute to regional and national development.
